Accounts Receivable/Collections Specialist

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Accurately reviewing, coding, and processing invoices
• Reviewing vendor statements and reconciling invoice discrepancies
• Addressing vendor and internal employee inquiries regarding payment
• Maintaining vendor files including processing credit applications
• Reconciling company credit cards and using accounting software to post
• Filing expense reports
• Resolving customer billing issues

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of one year Accounts Receivable experience required
• Associate’s Degree
• Billing process development
• Strong written & verbal skills required
• Intermediate experience in Microsoft Suite including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
• Ability to use fundamental business arithmetic (e.g. averages, percentages)
• Strong Time Management and organizational skills
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles
