RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assemble stained or pre-painted components according to work order specifications
• Operate a screw gun or pneumatic nail gun
• Inspect quality of components before, during and after assembly process
• Store and secure work materials properly and maintain a clean work area
• Attend all safety training and meetings and stay up to date on all OSHA and company guidelines
• Perform routine maintenance on all tools including cleaning, oiling, check to ensure proper functioning, check measuring tool accuracy, calibrate machines, and advising and supervisor if anything requires larger repairs
• Must be willing to cross-train and able to handle multiple functions in the department

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1-2 years’ experience and/or training preferred
• Experience in following direction and working in a team environment
• Familiar with door components and assembly technique preferred but not required
• Basic analytical, math and reasoning abilities
• Might require forklift certification depending on department
• Able to lift 50-85 lbs
• Able to handle, reach, squat, lift, etc.
