RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assimilate complex avionics and electrical system
• Offer concept, fabrication drawings and subsequent installation drawings in support of STC projects
• Create efficient and accurate certification approaches for 14 CFR part 23/25 aircraft modifications
• Create organized project proposals, project certification plans and project schedules
• Describe aircraft modification compliance requirements in accordance with 14 CFR part 23/25
• Help in the preparation and verification of aircraft installations and FAA certification documents
• Create conception, layout and detail design of aircraft components and systems
• Formulate timely and accurate manuals, reports, plans and analyses required for FAA aircraft certification projects

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in aerospace, mechanical or electrical engineering
• 8-10 years working experience in FAA 14 CFR part 23/25 aircraft certification projects
• Certificate in Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) required
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Project, Visio and Access), AutoCAD or SolidWorks
