RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Experience with new business development within public safety industry
• Able to communicate public safety plan
• Experience to maintain and expand executive level relationships
• Accomplish sales plan with regional Government Account Managers
• Experience with branding and marketing for Government within the public safety community
• Take responsibility for understanding industry trends, emerging technologies/solutions, and competitive pressures.
• Able to make successful presentations and proposals.
• Able to provide best customer focused service.
• Drive transformation within the industry through implementation of technology.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have 8 to 10 years police, fire, or EMS experience
• Expertise in 21st-Century policing, fire, or emergency services
• Strong personal connections within the public safety industry and groups
• Skillful presenting and communicating skills
• Police Chief, Fire Chief, EMS Chief level experience is preferred
• Knowledge of public safety budgets, operations, boards, RFP’s, funding streams, programs and tools required.
• Must have Valid Driver’s license and satisfactory driving record and proof of insurance

EDUCATION:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent demonstrated work experience

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to work in the field up to 90% of the time within your assigned geographic territory
• Up to 50% travel
