Rotating 8hr Shift: 6am-9pm, Weekends (Sunday Required)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare cleaning solution as per specifications mixing water, detergents, or acids.
• Servicing and cleaning or stocking washrooms, cafeterias, offices, and plant area.
• Building housekeeping – cleaning, mopping, vacuuming, scrubbing etc.
• Trash pick-up and disposal.
• Use of chemical cleaners and power equipment according to procedures to avoid damage to floors and fittings.
• Mowing or manual or power trimming grasses or bushes and clean the area.
• Inform supervisors regarding major repairs
• Cleaning of drainage screens.
• Knowledge of handling pressure washers, floor scrubbers and weed eater.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Physical ability using arms, legs, climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials.
• Able to use telephone, write form, e-mail, or communicate in person to provide information.
• Seeing, getting, and gaining info from all related sources.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Custodial Experience: 1 year
• Military experienced candidates encouraged
• Job starters or returning to work with limited experience and education encouraged
