RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Operating and monitoring the assembly equipment per prescribed safety, operational, and quality procedures to ensure quality production
  • Verifying correctness of components from shop order to component number, to prevent mixed or wrong parts
  • Performing quality checks using various inspection gauges, microscopes, or calipers
  • Performing continuous quality checks to ensure that products meet specifications, tolerances, and customer order requirements
  • Sorting machine scrap
  • Recording operating data such as process conditions, test results, or instrument readings
  • Maintaining supplies by checking stock, anticipating, and requesting supplies
  • Maintaining quality standards by conducting in-process inspection, line clearance, production records, and overall monitoring
  • Reading fabrication orders to determine equipment settings and adjustments
  • Packaging finished products and prepare them for storage or shipment
  • Notifying supervision of product quality issues
  • Participating in product investigations
  • Maintaining safe and clean work environment by complying with company procedures, rules and regulations and reporting any dangerous situations or malfunction of equipment
  • Supporting and adhering to all system and company procedures
  • Performing and meeting the requirements of BRC/GMP/ISO in all job activities
  • Performing other related duties assigned.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • One year of factory experience preferred
  • 12-month outstanding performance in prior position (preferred)
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks
  • Perform at a high pace environment and be able to work well under pressure
  • Complete math and mechanical aptitude test with a passing grade
  • Must possess basic math skills
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English
  • Able to stand, walk, and bend during performance of expected duties.
  • Must be able to routinely lift loads of 25-65 lbs. from floor level to above waist; Based on site location, must be able to occasionally lift over 100 pounds with frequent bending and twisting
  • Must have ability for sitting, standing, walking, pushing, twisting, climbing, bending, reaching, grasping, performing repetitive movements, working indoors, working in temperature extremes
  • Must be able to climb steps, have good vision, be able to hear warning signals, discern shades of color, read various inspection gauges, work effectively, communicate with others, and be willing to work as a member of a team
