RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for performing shipping and receiving tasks under general supervision.
• Operate computer to verify orders, input, print bill of lading, and match received products and prepare items for proper shipment.
• Determine type of transportation needed to ship quantity of order, contact carries and coordinate pick up, rates and instructions for loading and delivering products.
• Collect all information for outbound freight and route to record keeping unit.
• Select orders for shipment ad distribute merchandise to be shipped.

• Count items correctly and compare them to the PO that comes in with it.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma/ GED Required
• Must be able to do basic Math.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Ability to lift 50lbs.
• Shipping and Receiving experience is a plus
• Basic computer skills
• Experience operating sit-down forklift.
