RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Validate equipment engineering and equipment process
  • Qualify, specify, source and confirm manufacturing processes with the assessment of senior engineering resources
  • Create and complete protocols and reports
  • Gather document requirements necessary for equipment
  • Ensure by designing and or specifying equipment meets requirements
  • Provide technical drawings/blueprints needed to build or modify equipment
  • Ensure facility is prepared for new installation of equipment, including environment, and utilities preparation
  • Assist with installation for new equipment delivered
  • Execute site acceptance testing of equipment, including development of protocols, execution, and report writing
  • Conduct performance qualification, operational, and installation testing of equipment
  • Support in the development of preventative maintenance and calibration plans for equipment
  • Oversee the packaging and or sterilization process development
  • Assist process risk management activities
  • Ensure design goals are met by performing engineering calculations
  • Create improvements for current manufacturing methods and processes
  • Collaborate with operations, QA, Engineering, Maintenance, suppliers and management to solve problems
  • Ensure cGMP requirements are being adhered to
  • Be current with any manufacturing technology changes
  • Ensure business is conducted in a responsible manner that adheres with all state, OSHA, EPA, DEP, and FDA regulations

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or relative field
  • 3-5 Years of Engineering experience
  • 1-3 years of working experience in a regulated industry
  • Must possess strong mechanical aptitude
  • Wide knowledge of engineering processes
  • Knowledgeable with process controls and manufacturing systems
  • Exceptional data analysis, statistics, and applied mathematics skills,
  • Exceptional technical writing skills
  • Must be able to read and interpret blueprints
  • Strong understanding of design techniques. Principles, instruments, and tools incorporated with production
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Visio and or other related software
